Max and Hailey’s love story is nothing short of magical—just like the kind of fairytale that many dream of! Their journey began in 7th grade at St. Charles in Hartland, Wisconsin, where they first started dating. Though life took them on different paths as they went on to separate high schools, the Holy Spirit had big plans for them. Years later, they reconnected and rekindled their relationship, always keeping God at the center. As Catholic wedding photographers, we feel incredibly blessed to have played a small part in their beautiful love story.
One of the most sentimental moments during their wedding day was taking portraits by the tree where they had carved their initials as kids. This tree also held many memories from their dating years and was the place where Max proposed, making it a perfect location for their wedding portraits. One of the highlights of the day was convincing their bridal party to brave six inches of snow and 40 degrees for some unforgettable wedding photos! The commitment to capturing beautiful moments, no matter the conditions, is a true testament to the amazing group of people they have in their lives.
Their wedding was truly a breathtaking celebration of love and faith. February has now become one of my favorite months for weddings, thanks to the romantic and traditional atmosphere they created. The couple’s choice of colors and decor beautifully embraced the winter season and added a touch of elegance to the day.
The entire day was filled with deep emotion and joy, and what made it even more special was seeing their love centered on Christ, His Church, and the sacraments. As a Catholic wedding photographers, there’s nothing more rewarding than witnessing a couple’s devotion to their faith on such an important day.
We are beyond grateful to have been part of this incredible day and to witness Max and Hailey’s love story unfold. It was an honor to document their journey of faith, love, and commitment to each other.
