Conner & Christina Apple Orchard Engagement Session

Engagement

My (sometimes unpopular) opinion is that spring is THE best time to do an engagement session. Fall usually gets all the attention for the pretty colors and cozy outfits, but I will choose flowers and flowy dresses every time! Add in beautiful weather, a great, fun couple, and a perfect location like Berryland Farm and you have yourself a photographer’s dream session.

We enjoyed Conner and Christina so much – their silliness and obvious love for each other is what makes engagement sessions one of the best parts about being a wedding photographer. Engagement sessions are a more relaxed way for couples to “practice” and feel more confident about the photo part of their wedding day. We also get to know each couple in a more intimate way. They shared with us that before they met, Christina had been praying for her unknown future husband. She made a rosary to give to the man she would someday marry and has since given it to Conner and they chose to incorporate it into their engagement session. It’s a beautiful reminder to keep Christ at the center of your relationship and we have no doubt that’s what their September wedding day will be: a reflection of God’s love and his plan for marriage. We can’t wait 🙂
