On the perfect August evening (and also Amber’s birthday!) we had the pleasure of capturing a small part of the love story of Jacob & Amber at a Wisconsin county park – Rock Dam. This location holds a special place in their hearts because it is where their family has spent many summers camping together. We enjoyed having them show us around to all their favorite spots. The scenery was breathtaking, with lush greenery (the best part about August!), a waterfall, and a peaceful lake that provided the perfect backdrop for their engagement session.
We started the session at the spot where Jacob proposed on a large rock overlooking the waterfall. The warm sunlight filtered through the trees, casting some amazing light on them as they laughed and chatted with each other.
As the sun began to dip lower in the sky, we took advantage of the golden hour light to capture some playful shots of Jacob & Amber at the lake. It was clear to see the love and joy they had for each other, and it was an honor to capture it all through our lens. Their July wedding is fast approaching and we are so excited to see them again and be a part of their big day!
